Afghanistan Wrestling Federation (AWF) is the national authority responsible for promoting, regulating, and developing wrestling across Afghanistan. Based at Ghazi Stadium, Kabul, AWF oversees national programs, provincial federations, coaching development, referee training, and international representation.
Wrestling is Afghanistan’s oldest and most culturally rooted sport, a symbol of unity, resilience, and national pride with Over 300 active wrestling clubs in Kabul. Provincial competitions across all major zones National teams with decades of international participation. A history of more than 1,000 years and Strong cultural traditions such as a dedicated song called Zarbi Mill
